Are these projects safe?
Trust
I cannot certify a stranger’s executable. I can say which signals I require before I link one.
Signals
I link a project when its own domain answers, the page explains accounts and saves, and the download, if any, is on that domain or a named mod site such as NFSMods. I do not link a reupload. Account shops that sell “nfsmwonline accounts” are not a feature. Buying one hands your session to the seller. Hack tutorials for Underground 2 saves against a live server are the same category: I name the risk and I do not write the steps.
A search snippet that quotes a scanner score for nfsmwonline.com is not a verdict. The scan page itself was blocked when it was checked, so I will not repeat the number. NFSCO’s docs mention antivirus false positives and still tell you to download only from NFSMods. That is a reason to keep the scanner on, not a reason to trust every zip that mentions Carbon. APK files from video descriptions are out of scope. Use the Android app the project itself names, or do not.
Questions
Is NFSMW Online safe?
The site is a known browser project with its own account. I do not have a clean public scanner report I will quote. Do not buy an account from a third party.
Should I turn antivirus off?
No. If a mod documents a false positive, download it only from the URL the project names and leave the scanner on.
