Unbound is the 2022 Lakeshore game and it is still an EA live service, not a community port. Multiplayer progress is separate from the story, which is why “can I play Lockdown without online” is a real question: Lockdown is the online mode. EA’s Volume 9 note describes Lockdown as PvPvE with five teams of three, dated 19 Nov 2024. Cross-play defaults on, and progress does not move between platforms. Ban threads and “unlock car” glitch threads are common. I will not write a bypass. If EA banned an account, the appeal path is EA’s own help, not a trainer from a search ad. Single-player story does not require you to be in a Lockdown lobby. Online play still requires EA’s service to be up.

I do not have a sourced shutdown date, so I am not inventing one. Read the route list for what is actually documented.

Is a browser page the same as multiplayer?

No. Several browser builds are single-player. The route list says which ones claim real lobbies and how many sources back that claim.
